Sandy City Police offered the community this reminder on one way to keep yourself and your home safe:
"Open Garage Doors, even just a few inches, are an invitation to Burglars. A few inches is all a burglar needs to be able to pry the door open or even slide under to reach your valuables. Once inside the garage, they often have access to your home through the adjoining door as well. Be sure to always keep the door between the garage and home locked and keep your garage door closed completely! " You can see their post HERE.
